Been on a carnivore/ketovore diet for roughly 6 weeks and just got back from the doctor. She totally didn't want to do any additional blood analysis such as fasting insulin or advanced lipid profile. She had no clue why I would want a fasting insulin test (I am type II diabetic with A1C of 6.2).... She asked if I was on a low salt diet she about fainted when I told her no I was on a high salt, high animal fat, meat and eggs diet. However, I have lost 20 pounds and we are now changing blood pressure meds because it is so much better. My LDL went sky high, HDL stayed the same and TG are the lowest they have ever been. Doctor just shook her head and said we would see how things look in 6 months. I am a sugar/carboholic so it has been a challenge but man does my body crave ribeyes/fat now! Thanks for all of the information you share!

This is the perfect picture of healthy and sane. The green forest, sun on your skin, animals walking free and eating not standing in a closed barn. You are a huge inspiration and the savior of so many life's. Huge thanks!

We just switched our children over to an animal based diet with some fruit because I was raised on cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner sometimes. That's what they wanted to eat more and more. And as I learned more about keto, then carnivore, the guilt I felt about their nutrient-lacking diet started eating me alive. When my husband decided to do keto, something shifted in me and after the kids finished that last box of cereal, I just didn't replace it. Every time they eat a chunk of cheese instead of a cookie, my chest lightens. I've watched as my 5, 3 and 1.5 year old ask for less and less sugar and actually eat MEAT! And eggs! We're all much happier now.

My personal Doctor was shocked when I told him I’d gone ketovore, he was so worried he ordered a full bloodwork, the results blew him away.. my blood work was perfect… since then he has closely monitored me but has also educated himself on the diet. I have gone from someone who was very sick and spent a lot of time in bed to someone living a wonderful pain free normal life, My Doctor said he cannot ignore the evidence of my transformation.

Thank you, Dr. Berry!! Feb 20th '25 I was diagnosed as T-2 with an A1C of 7.5 along with being severely obese. This shook me into doing a deep dive of what I need to do to turn things around & then I found your channel & started down the carnivore path on March 1st '25. At my three-month follow-up with my doctor in May my A1C was 5.5 and I had lost 40lbs. I was now in the normal A1C range, the neuropathy in my feet was gone, inflammation gone, and now at the six-month mark I'm down a little over 80lbs & no longer in the severe/morbidly obese BMI range. I still have a way to go but now know I'm on the right path thanks to you & your videos. Not too bad for a 68yr old dude who let things spin out of control. I now refer to the grocery store as (the sugar shack) and tell people (If it comes in a bag, box or can--leave it on the shelf)

I didn't need research to tell me that I was addicted to sugar. I showed all the signs that I had a problem. I would encounter someone that says, "everything in moderation" and they would convince me to have a piece of candy. What they didn't see was on my way home I bought 2 pounds of Reeses and sat in my truck in an alley eating the whole bag of Reeses and throwing away all the wrappers in a dumpster to hide my shame. The only way for me to break free of this addiction is to have nothing with sugar in it. I have a problem, I know it, and now I take responsibility for it. Carnivore 2 years this month.

I have been carnivore just short of a month. Inflammation gone, pain gone; BG down in the 80's and low 90's from almost 200 and more. Yesterday I ate homemade soups from homemade broth. It had chicken AND veggies. This morning my BG was back over 100, knees inflamed and eyes were again swollen and stomach distended. The veggies were low starch and organic. Hummm, I won't cheat again.

Lost 17lbs in 4 weeks. I have Lipedema, so much of my weight loss is water which makes me ecstatic. I can see the difference in my legs and feet also hardly any inflammation. So when snotty people say my weight loss is just water weight I know to be all excited because it means I am kicking inflammations butt.

I'm one of those people who found out the hard way that plants were killing me. After years of consuming an abundance of dark leafy greens like spinach and Swiss chard, baking with almond flour, etc. to consume the Paleo diet my doctor was pushing on me, I finally found out that it was the oxalates in all of those plants that had been causing all of my kidney stones, amounting to no fewer than half a dozen per year for decades, and sometimes more. I adopted the carnivore diet for several weeks, but being a foodie, I got bored and fell off the diet for several months. During that time my health began to deteriorate rapidly again, and I immediately started getting more kidney stones on top of all of my other problems. I'm back on carnivore now, firmly in my second week, and even though I'm still struggling with sugar cravings, I'm feeling better and stronger each day. This time I will definitely stay the course, and this time my family is actually supporting me since they found out from my labs that both my kidneys and my adrenal glands have begun to fail. Here's to finding health through consumption of a proper human diet!
