Share Level: Wanderers – The Gateway and Flexible Labor of Love

Every thriving village needs an open door. In our co-op, that door is the Wanderer share level. Wanderers represent the fluid, dynamic entry point into the Camper Convoy. Rather than being locked into a permanent trade role immediately, this level is designed for flexibility, onboarding, and short-term connection.
Who Are the Wanderers?
The Wanderer level is intentionally broad to accommodate those who are transitioning, exploring, or simply passing through with purpose. This includes:
The Newbies: Those just starting their journey toward self-reliance, learning the ropes, and figuring out where their skills best fit within the village before committing to a Villager or Pioneer role.
The Refuge Seekers: Individuals or families needing a safe, temporary landing spot to reset, recalibrate, and get their feet back on the ground in a supportive environment.
The Temporary Travelers: Nomads who want to park their rig, contribute for a season, and then hit the road again.
The Local Workshop Guests: People from the surrounding community who want to step in for a weekend to teach a skill, host a workshop, or learn a specific trade without becoming full-time convoy residents.
The LOL Contribution
Operating under our Labor of Love (LOL) framework, Wanderers contribute their 3 hours a day, 3 days a week across fluid support roles, but with flexibility tailored to their stay.
For a newbie or someone seeking refuge, their LOL might look like general physical site help—clearing brush, assisting a Pioneer with a build, or helping tend the gardens. For a visiting local, their LOL contribution might be entirely mental or spiritual—hosting a permaculture workshop or leading a community event.
The Wanderer level ensures that whether you are here for a weekend workshop, a season of healing, or the beginning of a permanent relocation, your presence brings value to the village and the village brings value to you.
